It's Fun ... with Horses!
Learn the joys of horsemanship in this three-hour, five-day camp for the younger horse lover.

Right next door in Orangevale kids ages six to eight now have the chance to find out what it's like to be a real-life horse owner.
Hillside Training Stables, in conjunction with the , is offering area kids a three-hour, five-day camp for the younger horse lover.
According to its website, Hillside staff will train campers in the basics of taking care of a horse and riding them safely. Class sizes are small, with a ratio of four children per session and two instructors.

Daily horse projects, crafts and a midday snack are included in this program. Safety skills, grooming, riding lessons and horse care will be taught. No reading is required.
The five-day camp costs $256. Please wear long pants, boots or sturdy hard sole shoes, bring watter bottle and no sleaveless shirts. Helmets are provided. Minimum of two students are needed and maximum of four students.

Campers will be able to decorate photo frames for keepsake pictures of themselves and their horses. Hillside Training Stable Summer Camp 2012 "T" Shirts will also be available for a cost of $15.00.
