Local Candidate in Race For Board of Education
Eleanor Brown, of Fair Oaks, and Estelle Lemieux seek Area 4 seat representing Fair Oaks and Carmichael.
An educator from Fair Oaks is in the race for the Sacramento County Board of Education representing Fair Oaks and a portion of Carmichael, The Sacramento Bee reported.
Fair Oaks resident, Eleanor Brown was appointed in December 2010 to complete the Area 4 term of trustee Victoria Dane, who moved out of the county, The Bee reported. A retired teacher and principal who lives in Fair Oaks, Brown worked in the for 35 years.
Brown's challenger, Estelle Lemieux, is an education consultant, The Bee reported.
