Missed Connections: 'This is a Long Shot'

Like ships in the night, missed connections can be those chance encounters people can make every day. Perhaps it's just trying to locate a long-lost someone. Some people try to reestablish those meetings through Craigslist. Here's a few from Fair Oaks:

• Bannister Park locked in - m4w - Last night, July 18, you read the sign, 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. We had a black F-150. Locked in until they opened the gate for us. you are tall, about 5'10". The woman is my roomate, so I am single and you are Gorgeous! This is a real longshot.
• RE: can't stop thinking of you - w4m - First off: "You're" not "your", and "lose" not "loose". Do you know how many married blue eyed women there are in Fair Oaks? If she wants you, how is she supposed to know that post is even about her when the only two details you listed match up to so many women in the area? A lot to lose or not, maybe she does want youbut didn't act on it because she didn't know how you felt? And now that you've expressed it, she might read it thinking it's about someone totally different.
