New Principals Coming to Deterding, Starr-King Schools

Two Carmichael public schools will have new principals in the fall, officials announced today.
With retirements and other departures, several San Juan schools will see new principals for the 2012-13 school year, according to a district news release.
Sandra Rangel will move from to Skycrest Elementary in Citrus Heights. Interviews and selection for a new Deterding principal will take place later this month.

Debbie Kraus will join , district officials announced. Kraus replaces Janice Bowdler at Starr-King and is currently a principal on special assignment.
Also this month, Vera Vaccaro of , to little fanfare, and Brett Wolfe has been named as her replacement.
