Suspects Sought in Stabbing of Spencer Stone, French Train Hero

Sacramento police have released a composite sketch of two men believed to be involved in the assault on Airman First Class Spencer Stone.

Sacramento police are trying to identify two men allegedly involved in the stabbing of Airman First Class Spencer Stone, the hero who helped stop a terrorist attack on a train in France.

Stone was stabbed multiple times in Sacramento around 12:46 a.m. following a physical altercation on Oct. 8, according to police. Surveillance video collected by police of the suspects shows them leaving the area in a 2009-2012 Camry.

Police have released two composite sketches that depict what the suspects look like based on eyewitness accounts of the assault. The two suspects are described as Asian or Filipino adult males wearing white shirts and blue jeans.

Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.

Stone was released from the hospital on Thursday after being treated for stab wounds.
