Three Injured in Two-Car Collision on Fair Oaks Blvd.

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision around midday on Fair Oaks Boulevard near El Camino Avenue, California Highway Patrol officials said.

The driver of a beige Jeep 4X4 collided with a white Mercedes Benz SLK 230 at about 11:45 a.m., said a CHP officer at the scene who declined to give her name. The Jeep ended up on top of the hood of the Mercedes Benz with serious damage.

Three individuals were transported to Mercy San Juan Medical Center with moderate injuries, the CHP officer said.

CHP officers are investigating the case. Traffic was delayed as officer closed it to one lane in each direction instead of two.
