Victim in Haskell Ave. Homicide Identified
Sheriff's deputies still investigating shooting.

The Sacramento County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Andrew David Coy, 24, The Bee reported.

Deputies found Coy inside a home on the 5700 block of Haskell Avenue, which is near the intersection of Winding Way and Hackberry Lane, said Dep. Jason Ramos. Coy had sustained a gunshot wound to his upper body and was declared dead at the scene.
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at (916) 874-5115, Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP, or send a text message tip to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter SACTIP followed by the tip information, according to a news release. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
