Video: Home Fire Extinguished, Dog Rescued on Valhalla Drive

Sac Metro Fire: No injuries reported.

Firefighters extinguished a home fire on Valhalla Drive in north Carmichael on Thursday afternoon, Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District officials announced.

At about 1 p.m., crews extinguished the blaze at 5221 Valhalla Drive, said Sac Metro Fire Asst. Chief Walt White.

No injuries were reported, White said.

A dog was rescued from the home.

The cause was determined to be accidental and caused by an electrical issue, White said.
