If you’re looking to beat the heat or get out of the house this weekend, check out these fun events happening in and around Fair Oaks.

Safetyville USA Free Family Bike Night: Bring your kids to Safetyville USA, 3909 Bradshaw Road in Sacramento, for some cycling fun from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday. An enclosed safe riding area includes a designated spot for young riders as well as a food court. A bike safety clinic will begin at 6:30 p.m. with area bike vendors to offer assistance and answer questions. The California Highway Patrol will also have handouts. The Great American Trailer Park Musical: Have some laughs and tap your feet to the audience favorite The Great American Trailer Park Musical, billed as South Park meets Desperate Housewives. A new tenant at Armadillo Acres is wreaking havoc at the exclusive Florida trailer park. Evening shows will be held 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Veterans Memorial Amphitheatre in Fair Oaks, 7991 California Ave. Tickets are $15. Karaoke Night: Test those pipes and stay local by checking out Karaoke Night at the San Juan Club, 7420 Sunset Ave. There is karaoke every Friday and Saturday nights from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. For more information, call (916) 965-9883, or go to the San Juan Club website.

Charity Bingo:  Play bingo and raise money for Casa Roble High School on Saturday or Bella Vista High School on Sunday, at Madison Mall Charities, 8830 Madison Ave. The Saturday evening session will be held from 6 to 11 p.m., followed by a late night session from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday’s bingo for Bella Vista begins at 5 p.m. For more information, call (916) 965-7800 or go to the Madison Mall Charities website.
