2 Prowling Suspects Found On Building Roof, Arrested
The Peninsula pair appeared to be casing parked cars in a condo complex garage when a resident spotted them and called 911, police said.

BELMONT, CA — A man and woman from San Mateo were arrested Tuesday on prowling charges after they allegedly snuck through a security gate and were casing parked cars at a Belmont condominium complex, according to authorities.
A resident at about 11:10 a.m. reported that a male and female were peering into parked vehicles and pulling on their door handles in the complex's garage on Davey Glen Road, the Belmont Police Depatment said.
The suspects, later identified as Yessica Cadenahernandez, 28, and Yunior Renelopez, 23, ran when they spotted the resident, who then dialed 911, police said.

"This is a great example of a member of the public observing suspicious behavior and immediately reporting it to law enforcement," the department said. "The resident's quick call with accurate information, led to the arrest of these suspects. Remember, 'see something...say something.'"
