3 Suspects Sought In Home Break-In On Peninsula

Neighbor saw suspects run from house to a waiting silver Infiniti, officials said. Locals asked to check their surveillance footage.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — Three residential break-in suspects are sought after a resident called law enforcement when hearing a neighbor's audible home alarm and seeing men running from a San Carlos house Friday evening, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responding at about 7:45 p.m. to the residence on the 3100 Block of Melendy Drive found the house's rear glass-sliding door shattered, deputies said. Nothing appeared to be stolen in the burglary, however, according to the homeowners, who later returned to the scene, the department said.

The witness said two men fled the home to a waiting car with a driver inside, and the trio drove off in a silver, four-door Infiniti, possibly a G-35 or G-37 model with paper plates, heading east on Melendy toward Alameda De Las Pulgas, deputies said.
