BELMONT, CA — Continuing its revolving "No Kid Hungry Chef Collaboration Series," Dog Haus teamed up with the chef of Bubu’s Birds and Burgers to sell a spicy, one-of-a-kind Bubu’s Hot Chicken Grilled Cheese during the month of September, with $1 of every sandwich sold going to the No Kid Hungry charity.

Crafted exclusively for the Dog Haus collaboration with Chef Eric Greenspan, owner of Bubu’s Birds and Burgers, the Hot Chicken Grilled Cheese features a fried chicken breast – dunked and coated in Bubu’s chili oil and sprinkled with "Angry Dust" (a very spicy, secret seasoning blend) — American cheese, cheese sauce, chipotle aioli, Haus slaw and pickles, served on grilled King’s Hawaiian buns.

“I’m honored to be a part of this year’s Chef Collaboration Series and for my sandwich to help raise funds for No Kid Hungry,” said Greenspan, cookbook author, Food Network TV personality and owner of Los Angeles-based Bubu’s Birds and Burgers, known as the virtual brand Alt/Grub/Faction. “Bubu’s Hot Chicken Grilled Cheese on King’s Hawaiian buns … you can’t go wrong with that. I have no doubt that Dog Haus guests are going to love it.”

Dog Haus, known for its creative hot dogs, sausages, burgers and its "Bad Mutha Clucka" sandwich, was founded by friends in Pasadena in 2010. In its stated purpose as "a brand who gives back," Dog Haus established a partnership with No Kid Hungry, a nonprofit focused on ending childhood hunger.

The August chef-collaboration for the restaurant chain — time is running out! — is Korean Fried Chicken Wings, a specialty dish created by celebrity chef Chris Oh, again with partial proceeds going to the eatery's charity partner.
