'Coats For Kids' Gives Used Foster City Jackets To Those In Need
Residents with curbside service can leave donated coats for free pick-up at the curb!
FOSTER CITY, CA — The City of Foster City and Recology San Mateo County are pleased to announce that they have again teamed up to offer the Coats for Kids program. Coats For Kids makes it easy for Recology customers to donate their new or gently used coats to be given to families in need.
Giving has never been so easy! During the week of Monday, November 4 through Friday, November 8, residents with curbside service can leave donated coats for free pick-up at the curb. On your regularly scheduled collection day, just place gently used or new coats in a paper or clear plastic bag labeled “Coats for Kids.” Your collection provider will take it from there.
Coats should be new or in excellent “gently used” condition. All sizes are needed for children and adults.
If you live in a housing complex that doesn’t have individual curbside service, if you miss your curbside pick-up date, or if you just prefer to drop off, carts for coats are also located in the Foster City Recreation Center at 650 Shell Boulevard. Carts will be available at this location from Monday, November 4 through Friday, November 15, 2019.
