Young Genius, Bay Area Debate Academy is inviting your 6-9 grade student to register for our Saturday 11am Competitive Public Forum Debate class at 505 East Charleston Rd., Palo Alto, 94306
Public Forum Debate, or PF was originally based on the CNN show "Crossfire." It is two students on a team debating two other students. The topics are "ripped from the headlines" which means current events.
Our Public Forum Debate classes focus on developing such skills as research, persuasive speaking, active listening, critical thinking, accurate, extensive note taking and cross examination and preparing students to compete at local and national speech and debate tournaments.
