Construction To Begin On Post Office In Foster City
The Alma Lane renovation is projected to take about two months, city officials said.

FOSTER CITY, CA – Construction is expected to begin this week for renovations that are expected to take about two months at the U.S. Post Office at 750 Alma Lane in Foster City, city officials said Monday.
“We are extremely happy that the post office will be reopening its doors,” said Foster City Assistant City Manager Dante Hall. “Postal services are extremely important to our community and the Charter Square Post Office has enjoyed the loyal patronage of local residents for many years. We are also grateful to our residents for their patience over the past several months.”
The USPS temporarily closed the office Jan. 31, 2018 due to construction of a new elementary school on the Charter Square Shopping Center site.

The new full-service office will be about 3,800 square feet with counter space and post-office boxes, the city said.
