Foster City Advisory: Street Work Taking Place July 31-Aug 1

A Foster City contractor will stripe lane lines and install other pavement markings the night of July 31 and morning of Aug. 1.

FOSTER CITY, CA -- If you plan to be commuting in or through Foster City the night of July 31, be prepared for possible delays.

A city contractor will be striping lane lines and installing other pavement markings between the hours of 8 PM and 5 AM on Wednesday, July 31 and Thursday, Aug. 1.

The work is planned for the intersections of Foster City Boulevard/East Third Avenue and Foster City Boulevard/Metro Center Boulevard. During construction, a travel lane through the work zone will be maintained at all times. Motorists are advised to posted signs and traffic control measures for safe travel through the construction zone.

The striping work is part of the ongoing construction of CIP 301-667, which provides intersection improvements to improve existing traffic operations and address traffic-related impacts due to the BioMed Development Project and commuter cut-through traffic.
