Foster City Needs Residents to Fill Committee Seats

The City of Foster City is looking for residents interested in serving a full three-year term beginning January 2014 on any of the following Citizen Advisory Committees:

Audit – meets in April and November at 7 p.m.
Information Technology – meets second Tuesdays every other month (January, March, May, July, September, and November) at 7 p.m.

Parks & Recreation – meets first Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
Interested applicants are invited to submit applications by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24. Applicants for all committees are required to attend the November meeting of the committee for which they are applying and will be notified to attend the Dec. 16 city council meeting for official appointment.Â
All applicants are considered on a first-come, first-served basis and may be considered for appointment at a subsequent council meeting if vacancies exist.
Application forms are available at city hall, by calling 286-3250 or can be downloaded from the City's website at www.fostercity.org. Return completed application forms to the city clerk, at city hall, 610 Foster City Blvd.Â
