Bonchon Eyes Fountain Valley For Its 20th CA Restaurant
Famous for its Korean double-fried chicken, the chain plans to open in Town Centre on Brookhurst Street.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA — Bonchon, the worldwide, restaurant chain renown for its Korean double-fried chicken and Asian-fusion dishes, recently announced its newest location will open in Fountain Valley in July 2020.
The planned, 2,525-square-foot restaurant will offer such Korean specialties as kimchi, bulgogi and japchae, as well as domestic and Korean specialty beers, wine and cocktails, and its famous made-to-order double-fried chicken, company officials said.
“We are excited that Bonchon continues to grow in popularity across California and the U.S.,” said Flynn Dekker, Bonchon CEO. “In Korean, Bonchon means ‘my hometown’ and how appropriate for us to share our hometown experience in the bustling and vibrant area of Fountain Valley Brookhurst.”

This location will be the 20th restaurant in California for Bonchon, a rapidly growing business that first started in South Korea in 2002 and now operates nearly 100 restaurants in the U.S. and 330-plus around the world.

Bonchon also has an Orange County location in Costa Mesa on Adams Avenue.
