Wild, Wild West Nile: A Cypress woman became the first Orange County resident to test positive for West Nile Virus, according to reports. The woman in her 60s tested positive for the mosquito-borne virus in mid- July, but is now home recovering.Â
Book 'em: Book lovers will love the big sale going on at Camelot Books, 18838 Brookhurst St. According to the Orange County Register, the store is now under new ownership and are clearing out their current inventory of more than 100,000 titles. Great deals can be had, with some books selling for just $1.Â

Book 'em, again: A 20-year-old Sunset Beach man is scheduled to be arraigned today on charges of participating in the rioting that followed the end of the U-S. Open of Surfing. Eliyahu Reuven Jackson is accused of damaging newspaper stands and the city of Huntington Beach's public works trucks. He could face nearly four years in prison if convicted.
