Car Burglary Suspects Caught By Police
Inland Empire men were stopped by Fountain Valley Police Officer after hearing a car alarm; stolen items found with suspects.

Fountain Valley Police have arrested two men for burglary and possession of stolen property, the department said.
Abraham Lopez of Whittier and Benny Gutierrez of Chino, are being held on $75,000 bail after being booked into the Orange County Jail.
On Thursday, Sept. 24 at approximately 2:20 am, a Fountain Valley Police Officer was on patrol in the area of Newhope Street and Heil Avenue, when he heard an audible vehicle alarm begin to sound. The officer saw a vehicle with no lights on speeding away, pursued the vehicle and eventually made an enforcement stop.

The car was occupired by Lopez, 37, and Gutierrez, 41. Officers confirmed a vehicle burglary had just occurred at the location of the alarm, and that several pieces of property were missing from the vehicle.
Officers found various pieces of property inside the suspect vehicle, which matched the missing property from the vehicle that had just been burglarized.
