Chase Bank Building Back on Planning Agenda
The proposal for a 3,400-square-foot building to be located at the Shell gas station site on Garfield Avenue was tabled at the last meeting 2 weeks ago.
After being postponed at the request of the applicant, a public hearing regarding a new 3,400-square-foot Chase Bank building is back on the agenda for this Wednesday's regular meeting of the Fountain Valley Planning Commission.
The building would be located at 9025 Garfield Avenue, and the proposal also includes plans to remove the Shell gas station from the site, which is owned by Harry Naeim. The proposal is being made in Naeim's behalf by Stantec Architects, and it's not known whether Naeim has plans to sell the land.
The commission will also consider a petition submitted by Bruce Gitmod of , who is asking to add a cafe, complete with kitchen, food prep area and outdoor seating, to his store at 17970 Magnolia St.

The commission will also consider a proposal from Theresa Nguyen of the Xuan Lan Beauty Clinic, who is hoping to open a permanent cosmetics and facial services salon at 16027 Brookhurst St.
