Constitutional Crisis? Yes, but it is worse than that.

CA State and Local governments along with other state and local entitys are openly defying Federal immigration law and policy; By definition, a Constitutional crisis. The escalation continues as an illegal immigrant, one arrested several years ago trying to illegally reenter US, was recently appointed to a CA Statewide Commission. This escalation will continue as the State and Feds continue their tit for tat battle. These issues will wind their way through the Courts and hopefully come to some reasonable resolution.

But, we find ourselves at a place far worse than a Constitutional battle; A complete loss of confidence in the State and Federal governments by the citizens of the US. The government is not conducting the people’s business. Without confidence, the government and citizens will not thrive and progress. The government will not stand. We are devolving into a collection of separate cities, counties and states with different laws. Sanctuary cities and states for illegal immigrants exist. If so, why not sanctuary cities and states for guns? Tax havens for tax protestors? Local militias trying to impose and protect their view of law? Sound far-fetched? It is already happening as various local police departments pick and choose what laws to enforce based on local politics.

We have arrived at a critical time in our Republic. I implore you to put aside political bickering and take up the people’s business before it is too late.
