Coronavirus Totals In Fountain Valley: 12 Cases Reported Monday
At the start of week 5 of the coronavirus shutdown, 51 cases were reported across Orange County, along with 14 total deaths.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Two more Laguna Beach residents have tested positive for coronavirus on Monday, bringing that total to 34, according to the Orange County Health Care Agency. Orange County is entering the fifth week of the coronavirus shutdown.
A recommendation for all to "stay at home" was shared by Gov. Gavin Newsom, Friday. The recommendation was meant to encourage all citizens to observe the mandatory social distancing rules and help flatten the curve, even as we were told to expect worsening news over the next 14 days.
"This disease can impact anyone," Newsom wrote on Twitter. "Stay home. Take this seriously."
