Doughnuts For Heroes: 'Our Way To Say Thanks'
Orange County's Glee Donuts & Burgers made a delivery run to area hospitals, police & fire stations to "give back" to frontline workers.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Glee Donuts & Burgers, with locations in Fountain Valley and Anaheim, said while its loyal customers' patronage is helping support the family-owned restaurant during COVID-19 shutdowns, operators wanted to share that goodwill.
"We want to give back to the communities to thank all the heroes, who are risking their lives everyday to keep us safe during the pandemic," said owner Shawn Cao. "We want to give back to our communities as our way of thanking them."
What better way for a doughnut shop to do that than with dozens and dozens of freshly made doughnuts?

Glee workers this week made multiple delivery runs, donating the goodies — some 1,000 doughnuts — to frontline-coronavirus healthcare workers and first responders at the Fountain Valley Police and Fire departments, Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center in Fountain Valley, West Anaheim Medical Center, Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center and UCI Medical Center in Orange.
Health workers and first responders also can receive a free doughnut, any time with no purchase necessary, by stopping by Glee locales at 9475 Heil Ave. in Fountain Valley or 3024 West Ball Road in Anaheim.
