Dr. Tam Le Performs 1,000th Robotic-Assisted Surgery at MemorialCare Orange Coast Medical Center

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA – Tam Le, M.D., general and colorectal surgeon, recently performed his 1000th robotic-assisted surgery at MemorialCare Orange Coast Medical Center. He successfully performed a rectosigmoidectomy using the da Vinci® Si™ Surgical System.
“It is an amazing milestone because it also represents the 1,000th patient that I, along with my incredible team of highly-skilled nurses and anesthesiologists, have helped to improve their quality of life,” explains Dr. Le, who was one of the first general surgeons in Orange County to use robotic-assisted surgery. “I believe robotic-assisted surgery has helped us significantly enhance our outcomes as well as provide a more aesthetically friendly result for patients. As this technology continues to evolve, we must continue to educate patients about its efficacy and ensure they place their trust and health in the hands of an experienced surgeon.”
