Diane and Chris Bonthius of Fountain Valley were honored last weekend with the Volunteer Service Award by the EF Foundation for Foreign Study.
The award is designed to thank and honor Americans who, by their demonstrated commitment and example, inspire others to engage in volunteer service. For the past eight months, the Bonthius family has hosted exchange student Maurice Ottiger from Switzerland.
