MEDL Mobile Rolling Out Cheech and Chong App

Fountain Valley-based mobile app developer MEDL Mobile announced this week the release of "The Fatty," its collaboration with comedians Cheech and Chong.

"I've never had so much fun making an app," said Dave Swartz, MEDL Mobile co-founder and chief creative officer. 'The Fatty' is jam packed with everything a stoner could possibly need. We're bringing something unique, fun, and useful to loyal Cheech and Chong fans everywhere."

The app will be released April 20 at 4:20 p.m., a date and time near to the hearts--and lungs--of marijuana aficionados. Cheech and Chong themselves will host a live video stream and and chat from backstage of their comedy show that day, during which they'll demo the app for fans.

The app itself includes a Cheech and Chong soundboard, a counter-culture news feed and an online Cheech and Chong store. Other features are set to be rolled out this summer.
