Fountain Valley kicked off the first official day of Summerfest on Friday with perfect weather, plenty of great food, and entertainment for the whole family.
Carnival rides were in full swing, as were the first sets of the annual battle of the bands. The first day also featured a performance by Beatles tribute band Abbey Road.
