2 New Fitness Firms Coming to Fountain Valley

Planning commission also renews usage rights for a T-Mobile cell tower.

Two new fitness-themed businesses were given the green light by the Fountain Valley Planning Commission at its meeting Wednesday night.

Tom Vo’s Tae Kwon Do will also be opened on 17071 Magnolia St. from the hours of 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. At Tom Vo’s Tae Kwon Do, there will be two to five instructors teaching martial arts Monday through Friday. The commission emphasized that there should only be about 50 students per session because of the building's size.

The commission also granted a permit to Team America Fitness, a one-on-one physical training facility. Team America Fitness is run by Kim Hairston and will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.
