Planning Commission to Consider Expanded Liquor License for Local Restaurant

The Fountain Valley Planning Commission will consider a request at its regular meeting Wednesday from a local restaurant looking to expand to a full bar and stay open until 2 a.m.

The request is from Cloud 9 on Brookhurst Street. The restaurant is also seeking permission to host live entertainment. A similar request was made by in November, and the commission chose to grant the expanded liquor license, but deny the live entertainment.

The commission will also consider a request for a conditional use permit by She Rocks Fitness to open a personal training center at 8598 Warner Ave.; and consider a petition to install LED down lighting on the gas station pump canopy at the Chevron service station located at 8980 Warner Ave.
