Planning Commission to Review Finalized Chase Bank Plans

Plans for the 3,433-square-foot building include dual drive-through ATMs.

The Fountain Valley Planning Commission will consider a resolution Wednesday that would finalize plans for a new Chase Bank building at 9025 Garfield Ave.

Preliminary plans for the 3,433-square-foot building were approved June 27 by the planning commission and include dual drive-through ATMs. The original plans called for a 4,300-square-foot building but were ultimately altered to make room for the drive-through lanes on the relatively small lot, which is occupied by a Shell gas station.

A representative from Stantec, the architectural firm behind the project, told the commission in June that the plans for the propsed new Fountain Valley location have become Chase's model for building efficient new branch buildings on relatively small lots.
