Fountain Valley Planners to Review Impact Study on Proposed Hyundai HQ
If the study is certified, building permits could follow in about 3 weeks.

The Fountain Valley Planning Commission will review an enviromental impact report at its meeting Wednesday night for proposed new 469,700-square-foot corporate campus in Fountain Valley.
The commission received additional details about the plans for the proposed campus during its last on March 15. The six-story main building is four more stories than the original structure and will stand 115 feet high. Along with a new single-story technical services building to the northeast and a four-story parking structure in one corner, the 18-acre campus will encompass 469,700 square feet, or more than double the old structure, which already has been demolished.
Should the EIR be certified Wednesday by the planning commission, Hyundai could begin submitting building permits in 20 days. Contruction on the project is expected to last about 19 months.
