Tip Top Will Ask City for Store on Brookhurst

The Fountain Valley Planning Commission will consider a request Wednesday by Tip Top Sandwiches to open a location with outdoor seating in Fountain Valley.

The restaurant would be located at 16129 Brookhurst St., on the site of what was formerly Blockbuster Video. The popular Vietnamese sandwich shop and bakery already has one location in Garden Grove.

The commission will also hear a request from resident Nick Pondoff, who wants to build a 10-foot rear property block wall, two 10-foot vinyl side walls and a 10-foot vinyl gate at his house, located at 17933 Toiyabe Circle.

In new business, the commission will conduct a five-year review of Sprint's cell site at 10061 Talbert Ave., and consider whether to reaffirm the wireless provider's usage rights.
