Victim Identified in Westminster Crash
The 35-year-old man was struck by an SUV last week. He was killed while walking in Westminster.
A 35-year-old Anaheim man who was struck by an SUV while walking in Westminster and died six days later was identified Tuesday by the Orange County coroner’s office.
Javier Barrero was hit by an SUV in Westminster around 7 p.m. last Tuesday, according to the coroner’s office and the California Highway Patrol.
He was transported to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange where he died about 11:20 a.m. Monday, according to the coroner’s office.

The accident was being investigated by the CHP.
