Wilson Heads to Hill Tonight for Halos at Tampa
The Fountain Valley High alum tries to get his third win of the year tonight after a disappointing home debut last week.

C.J. Wilson will take the mound Wednesday night in Tampa against the Rays as the Angels try to stop yet another losing skid during this opening month of the season, which has seen more than a few Angel fans talking themselves out of panic mode.
Wilson, who's 2-0 with a 1.38 ERA so on the road so far this year, will be opposed by reigning AL Rookie of the Year Jeremy Hellickson, who beat out the Angels' Mark Trumbo in last year's voting.
Wilson lost his first home start last week against Oakland, striking out eight and giving up just two hits in six innings of work. His worst throw of the night was to first base in the fourth inning with runners on first and second, an error that allowed both runners to score as part of a three-run inning.

The Angels responded with two straight wins Friday and Saturday against Baltimore--their only back-to-back wins of the year so far, but were unable to complete the sweep Sunday as the bullpen faltered again.
