Wind Knocks Out Power to 1,500 in Fountain Valley
About 1,500 Southern California Edison customers in Fountain Valley were left without power during the windstorm.

High winds and heavy rain caused power outages affecting tens of thousands of Southern California Edison customers in Southern California, the utilities said today.
Southern California Edison reported at 9 p.m. Sunday that it had restored power to approximately 10,000 of about 80,000 customers who lost power. Overnight figures this morning were not immediately available.
In Orange County, Seal Beach was hardest-hit with 2,220 SCE customers affected, followed by Fountain Valley with about 1,500. Smaller outages were reported in Costa Mesa, Fullerton, Garden Grove and Santa Ana, Edison said.

Almost 4,700 Edison customers in Riverside County also lost power, including in Palm Springs, Desert Hot Springs and Jurupa Valley.
