7-Eleven Robbed at Gunpoint

Police are trying to identify a man who robbed a Fremont 7-Eleven store at gunpoint early Sunday morning.

The suspect entered the 7-Eleven at Mission and Niles boulevards at about 12:45 a.m., confronted a clerk and stole cash from the register.

Police described the robber as a black man about 35 years old, standing about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants at the time of the robbery, and was armed with a black semi-automatic pistol.

He was last seen heading west on Niles Boulevard on foot, police said.
