Carjacking on Fremont and Ferry

A car was stolen at gunpoint while stopped at the intersection of Fremont Boulevard and Ferry Lane on Thursday.

According to the Fremont Police Department, a suspect pointed a handgun at the driver and stole the car -- a silver 2002 Subaru WRX sedan with a black hood and trunk lid with a license plate number of 6XZJ074.

The car was last seen being driven northbound on Fremont Boulevard.

The suspect was described as a black male adult, about 6 feet tall with a skinny build. He had dreadlocked hair and was wearing a beanie.
