Chabot Sports Recap: Gladiators Battled Gallantly In Finale
Football season ends with loss to rival Laney; Chabot women win consolation title, men to host Gladiator Shootout

Chabot football coach Eric Fanene had no complaints about his team after a 21-7 loss to rival Laney Friday night in the Bay 6 Conference finale. The loss effectively ended Chabot's season, but the Gladiators played with their usual gusto against a highly regarded opponent.

The Gladiators earned a No. 25 ranking in the final regular season rankings by the JC Athletic Bureau coaches poll.
