The Tri-City Animal Shelter lobby will reopen to the public on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm beginning Wednesday, March 31. The reopening is for the following activities:

- Pet Licensing
- Intaking found dogs
- Intaking sick and injured cats
- Dog adoptions by appointment
- Returning animals to their owner
In order to maintain social distancing in the shelter, the area where the animals are housed will continue to be closed to the public. If you have lost your pet, please continue to visit the shelter website.
Licensing can be completed online or by mail.Â

If you are interested in adopting a dog, please visit the shelter’s website for the new appointment-based adoption process.
The shelter will continue to schedule appointments for other essential services on days the lobby is closed including redeeming a lost pet, surrendering your pet, and intaking found animals.
Adoptable cats are currently being transferred to adoption partners, also known as rescue groups. The shelter will begin cat adoptions in the late spring or early summer.
