Fremont Denny’s to Give Out 100 Free Grand Slams, 25 Burgers, 25 Entrées for Grand Re-Opening Thursday

The newly remodeled Mowry Avenue location celebrates its grand opening Thursday at 9 a.m.

The Mowry Avenue Denny’s restaurant will unveil its new look with a “Grand Slam Celebration” Thursday morning. 

In honor of its locally-inspired and community-centric redesign, the restaurant, located at 5280 Mowry Ave. in Fremont, will celebrate with a full day of free food and prizes starting at 9 a.m.

The restaurant will give away Original Grand Slam breakfasts to the first 100 customers. The 24-hour diner's signature meal includes two pancakes, two eggs, two strips of bacon and two sausage links.

But the party doesn’t stop at breakfast.

Starting at noon, the Mowry Avenue Denny’s will also give out a free classic burger and fries to the first 25 lunch guests.

At 6 p.m., the restaurant will provide free entrées to the first 25 dinner patrons. Additional prizes, including a free month of Denny’s coffee blends with a purchase of a limited-edition Fremont Denny’s mug, will also be given away throughout the day.

“[Thursday’s] grand re-opening is not only an exciting day for the residents of Fremont, but for all of us at Denny’s as well,” Denny’s General Manager Jaipal Trivedi said in a press release. “We’ve been a key part of this community for more than 40 years, and we couldn’t think of a better way to mark this occasion than with a Grand Slam of a celebration.”
