Driver Flees from Police, Passenger Arrested
The driver of the vehicle was not detained Monday night, according to police.

The driver of a vehicle fled and the passenger was arrested during a traffic stop in Fremont on Monday night, according to police.
At about 11:20 p.m., officers attempted to stop a Toyota sedan on Adobe Drive near Cabrillo Drive when the driver of the vehicle got out and jumped over a fence.
The female passenger also got out of the vehicle, briefly hiding nearby, police said.
The passenger came out of hiding as police were looking at the car. The driver of the vehicle has not been detained, but the passenger was arrested for being under the influence, police said.
