Driver Killed On I-680 Wednesday Identified
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

FREMONT, CA — The driver killed Wednesday when his Honda Accord slammed into the back of a big rig on Interstate Highway 680 in Fremont has been identified as 31-year-old Gerald Delarosa III of San Jose, according to the Alameda County coroner's bureau.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash happened around 8:20 a.m. in the northbound lanes near the South Mission Boulevard exit. Only one lane was blocked for about an hour, but traffic backed up for miles.
