She was an avid ballroom dancer most of her life and enjoyed all of her lovely dancing gowns and the festivities including her many dancing friends.

Evalyn always enjoyed exercise of any kind! She attended Yoga classes into her 90’s and even taught some classes as well. It was hard to keep up with her!

Evalyn bought a home in Fremont, Ca in the 1960’s after she was widowed. Her home was her pride and joy and she loved gardening in the yards. She had an amazing lemon tree in the back, which just recently had become too old to produce many lemons. She said they grew old together. It is difficult to estimate how many Lemon Pies were enjoyed from that tree! She continued to live in her home until her death which was so very important to her. Her youngest son, Mike, lived with her in her final years to make this possible.

Evalyn is survived by her three children: Barbara McCreary (Joe) in Jacksonville Beach, Florida; Ron Hilbert (Joan) in Roseburg, Oregon; and Michael Seiders in Fremont, Ca. ; Six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

As per her request, there will be no funeral services.

We had a true “Celebration of Life” for her 100th Birthday!
