Free Family Cycling Workshop In Fremont Saturday
Are you looking for some outdoor fun for the whole family? Take a look at what's being offered.

FREMONT, CA — A Family Cycling Workshop will be held in Fremont Saturday. It will include fun games, safety drills, skills building, and a neighborhood ride.
According to the event organizers, the workshop is for kids who are able to ride a bike and ready to take to the paths and roadways with their parents (suggested grade range 2nd-6th). The event includes instruction on:
- fitting a helmet
- performing a bike safety check
- communicating with other road users
- riding in a straight line and avoiding obstacles
- as well as navigating safely through intersections, all while playing fun games!
The fun will run from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

Meet in the Fremont Main Library parking lot, 2400 Stevenson Blvd.
The event is being put on by Bike East Bay and the City of Fremont, with funding from the Alameda County Transportation Commission.
