Fremont Fire Department Toy Drive Saturday

The Fremont Fire Department is hosting their second annual Holiday Toy Drive this Saturday.

The event is being held in conjunction with Toys R Us Fremont and the Tri-City Volunteers. 

Local firefighters will be in front of the Toys R Us store at 43756 Christy St. at Pacific Comms from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. 

Patrons will be encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys while shopping at the store. 

Firefighters will also be handing out sticker badges and plastic firefighter helmets to children. 

All donations will be given to the Tri-City Volunteers to be distributed to underprivileged children in the Fremont, Newark and Union City area this holiday season. 

Those who can't make it to the toy drive but would still like to make donations are encouraged to drop off new, unwrapped toys at any of the 10 fire stations in Fremont, along with the administration office at 3300 Capitol Ave., Building A in Fremont.
