Fremont Man Arrested Following Deadly I-680 Crash
A woman was killed in the crash on Wednesday.
FREMONT, CA — The California Highway Patrol arrested Fremont resident Eduardo Preciado, 25, following a deadly crash on I-680 in Milpitas early Wednesday morning.
He was arrested after officers determined alcohol appeared to be a factor in the collision, according to the CHP.
The crash happened about 12:28 a.m. and shut down traffic until shortly after 2 a.m.

The CHP says that the victim is a 52-year-old Phoenix woman, but her name is not readily available.
According to investigators, Preciado was at the wheel of a 2012 Infiniti when it struck sand barrels and a concrete sound wall before coming to rest in the center median.
