Fremont Parolee Arrested By Milpitas Police

Surveillance video shared with Fremont Police and other agencies was the key to cracking the case.

FREMONT, CA — A Fremont parolee is back behind bars after Milpitas Police arrested him on suspicion of attempted burglary and multiple counts of peeping.

Milpitas Police report that between April 29 and June 11, several residents reported that a suspicious man was wandering around their neighborhood and looking into windows at a townhome complex near the 1100-Block of North Abbott Avenue.

Milpitas Police shared surveillance video of the suspect with nearby police agencies.

The Fremont Police Department and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation joined the hunt for a 53-year old Fremont man, who was already on parole for burglary-related charges.

On Tuesday, detectives arrested the man in Oakland and booked him into the Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of attempted burglary and multiple counts of peeping.
