FREMONT, CA — A Hayward man was arrested Thursday after police investigating a report found him with a stolen vehicle, Fremont police said.
Officers were called to 43060 Christy St. shortly after 11 p.m. on a report of a man seen switching license plates on a white van.
Officers contacted the suspect, identified as 38-year-old Jose Cortti of Hayward, and arrested him after determining the van was stolen, police said.
