Fremont Receives 1.55 Inches Of Rain In 24 Hours
The 24-hour rainfall window ended at 1 p.m. Thursday. One Bay Area measuring station received 5.2 inches in the same time period.

FREMONT, CA — Have you had any puddles in your yard? The ground is saturated after several days of rainfall.
Fremont added another 1.55 inches of rain in 24 hours, ending at 1 p.m. Thursday, according to a rainfall map from the National Weather Service.
Mt. Diablo received the most rain in the East Bay with 2.44 inches, while the town of Dublin got 2.04 inches.

Beyond the East Bay, the Santa Cruz Mountains was the rainfall champ with 5.2 inches on Loma Prieta mountain, and 4.53 on Mt. Umunhum.
More rain is expected to fall in the overnight hours, and again early next week.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the Bay Area is in Severe Drought, based on rainfall through Tuesday.
